Andrew Lerner CEO
Andy has more than 18 years of experience working at the convergence of the media and software industries. Since 1992, he has focused particularly on the Internet. Andy founded, ran, and sold a venture backed company, Urban Data Solutions, that delivered multi-dimensional databases and data applications via the internet for wireless telecommunications, real estate, the government, and media industries. More recently, he has been the president of an email newsletter company that produces 2 separate newsletters and web sites; one is for baby boomer women and the other is for fathers. For five years in the 1990’s, Andy ran Time Warner Electronic Publishing. There, he created large-scale online games and oversaw the development of more than a dozen unique web sites. He published more than 100 interactive titles including best-selling games, Ansel Adams photographs, and, the first multi-media edition of Bartlett’s Familiar Quotations. Andy was a founding member of the New York New Media Association. Andy is the author of three children’s books. Earlier in his career he was the Editor-in-Chief at Welsh Publishing Group, where he oversaw several titles including Outside for Kids and Little League Magazine. He has an MBA and has served as a Director of a private software company. He is the treasurer of the Bronx Charter School for Children.

Bob Davidowitz Chief Revenue Officer
Bob has served as a Magazine Executive for 18 years, the last eleven as a Publisher or Group Publisher. From 2004 to 2006 under Bob’s leadership, the advertising revenues of The Bauer Entertainment Group, made up of the celebrity weeklies In Touch and Life & Style, grew 400%. In 2006, Bob earned an Advertising Age A list award for his work at In Touch Weekly which was recognized as one of the top performing magazines in the country. In 2004, Bob joined Rodale as the Group Publisher of the Sports Group including Runner’s World, Backpacker, Bicycling, Mountain Bike and Scuba Diving. From 1989-1997, Bob worked at several magazines including Woman’s Day, Star, Soap Opera Digest and Soap Opera Weekly. In 1997 Bob joined The American Baby Group and served as Group Publisher overseeing an integrated media platform encompassing print, broadcast, online, event and custom publishing. Bob was successful in creating one of the first Integrated Sales Teams responsible for selling 15 properties across 5 types of media.

Dustin Whitney Chief Technology Officer
Dustin has an active interest in distributed computing, including cloud computing and new programming languages like Scala that help solve problems related to concurrent/distributed/parallel programming. Dustin also founded the New York Scala Enthusiasts Meetup and presents at Scala events worldwide. Dustin regularly contributes to a variety of open source projects, including Databindder Dispatch, a library for making HTTP requests with Scala; Unfiltered, a web framework for Scala; Cloud Tools, a java framework for launching web applications on Amazon EC2 (this was purchased by SpringSource, and renamed Cloud Foundry); and most recently ScalAWS, a library for managing Amazon Web Service resources with Scala. He was previously a programmer with a financial services company where he managed a team of Java developers. Prior to that, Dustin worked for a healthcare company developing a pediatrics-based informatics tool for the University of Utah Hospital. Dustin is a graduate of the University of Utah where he studied economics and computer science.

Kelly MacCarthy Vice President of Product Development and Client Services
As VP of product development and client services, Kelly oversees product improvement to address client needs. Kelly has more than ten years experience in operations and client side oversight. She previously worked in client relations at a venture capital firm managing the European-based side of the business. Her work extended to getting newly funded companies operational. This included recruiting and finalizing staff, setting up new offices, getting websites built and hiring media relations counsel for more than fifteen start-ups. Kelly also worked in interior design and founded a consulting firm to help organizations plan and design their workspaces. She joined FORMAT, a strategic Web development firm, to oversee project development. Kelly is a graduate of Skidmore College.
